U-N-I: The New Guys On the Block

The California based indie/hip-hop duo, U-N-I, is a refreshing alternative to the current mechanized, commercial rap omnipresent on music store shelves. The pair formed two years ago and were featured on the 2008 MTV Music Video awards as "Best Breakout LA Artists". They are definitely worthy of your attention. U-N-I doesn't sacrifice style for substance, but they sure do have an appealing swagger. Nice.

Banks going bankrupt, pockets full of lint,
So the government opened up the mint,
Bailouts were lent,
But during foreclosures and bailouts,
More troops sailed out,
Terrorist strapping bombs to baby strollers, so lost souls yelled out,
Somebody let hell out,
Anthrax was mailed out...special delivery,
A woman had eight babies in one delivery,
Chivalry ain't dead, they giving out sweetheart deals on Capitol Hill,
How does it feel?
